My Design Journey
Hi, I’m Hannah, a Bachelor of Design graduate with a passion for creating spaces that are both practical and full of character. My interest in interior design comes from a fascination with how the spaces we live in shape the way we feel and experience everyday life. I believe thoughtful design can make daily living more enjoyable, comfortable, and inspiring.
My approach focuses on balancing creativity with functionality. I enjoy working with materials, colours, and spatial layouts to create spaces that not only look good but also work well for the people using them. I aim to design environments that feel personal, thoughtful, and well considered.
What makes my approach slightly different is that I offer interior design services at a more accessible price point. As a junior designer, my rates are lower than many established designers, allowing clients to receive professional design guidance while keeping their project within budget. This also allows me to continue gaining valuable experience.
A Timeless Aesthetic
I would describe my design style as a contemporary approach to historical design. I’m inspired by the character, detail, and craftsmanship found in older spaces, and I enjoy incorporating these elements into interiors in a way that still feels fresh and relevant today.
I’m particularly drawn to spaces that have personality and warmth. I tend to move away from overly minimal or purely modern interiors that strip a space of its character and detail. Instead, I aim to create environments that feel layered, thoughtful, and timeless.
When clients experience a space I’ve designed, I hope they feel comfortable, calm, and truly at home. My goal is to create spaces that feel peaceful, welcoming, and personal, where people can relax and enjoy their everyday surroundings.
